insteadof代替;而不是

insteadof是一介词短语,表示“代替、而不”。insteadof后必须接名词、代词、介词短语或动词-ing形式,而不单独使用。

instead

instead是副词,在句中充当状语,常用于句首,起连接上下句的作用,通常是上句含有否定的意义,然后是用instead引出下句,提出相反的情况,意为“反而”。

Hedidn’tanswermyquestion.Instead,heaskedmeanotherquestion.他没有回答我的问题,反而问了我另一个问题。

Tomdoesn’tstudyhard.Instead,heplaysfootballallday.汤姆学习不努力,反而整天踢足球。

instead也可用在句末,意为“顶替、代替”。

either意为“也(不)”,通常用于否定句,位于句末;however“然而”,通常位于句首或句中。yet“还,仍然,可是”;instead意为“代替,替代”,只能位于句末,强调不做前面的事情,而做后面的事。根据句意为“我们没有咖啡了,喝茶吧”确定选D。

b.句式包:

1.Sixteen-year-oldsshouldbeallowedtogettheirearspierced.十六岁的青少年应该被允许扎耳洞。

(1)shouldbeallowed是情态动词的被动结构,它是由“情态动词+be+及物动词的过去分词”构成。

Manytreesshouldbeplantedonthemountains.应该在树上植许多树。

Studentsshouldbeallowedtogotoschoolbybike.应该允许学生们骑自行车上学。

把含情态动词的主动句变成被动句,即把“情态动词+动词原形”改为“情态动词+be+过去分词”,此时,作主语的要用动词承受者。

Weshouldcleantheclassroomeveryday.

→Theclassroomshouldbecleanedeveryday.

该结构的句式转换

1.否定句:在情态动词后加not就行。

Thesebookscan’tbereadforchildren.这些书孩子们不能读。

2.一般疑问句:直接将被动语态的陈述句的情态动词提到的句首。

ShouldAnnbeallowedtowearherownclothes?应该允许安选择自己的衣服吗?

3.特殊疑问句:由疑问词加上含有情态动词的被动语态的一般疑问句构成。

4.对含有情态动词的被动语态的一般疑问句的回答,一般应保留原句中的情态动词,但must表示“必须”时,其否定回答用needn’t。

根据句意,主语food是动作的承受者,用被动语态,而空格后的cool是形容词,而“keep+某物+形容词”意为“使……保持……状态”,故选D。

(2)“get+宾语+过去分词”结构意为“让……被……”,其中过去分词和宾语之间这被动关系,该动作由他人(非主语本身)来完成,含有“被动意义且强调动作已经完成”的意思。get可用have替换。

getsbtodosth

getsbtodosth意为“让某人做某事”,相当于havesbdosth,前者不定式须带to,后者不定式不带to。不定式作宾语补足语,与宾语具有主动关系,表示宾语要做的事。

2.Heshouldstopwearingthatsillyearring.他应该不戴那个愚蠢的耳环。

stopdoingsth.表示的是“停止做(正在做的)某事”,这里的doingsth.为动名词短语,所表示的行为发生在stop之前,作stop的宾语。
