教材分析
采集与制作标本，包括两部分内容，植物标本和昆虫标本，生物标本的采集和制作方法是学生应该掌握的生物基本技能之一。本节教学通过让学生尝试制作植物标本和昆虫标本，掌握标本的采集和制作方法，训练学生的动手能力，培养学生对生物科学的兴趣及热爱大自然的情感。教学重点是采集和制作标本的基本方法。
学生分析
学生对采集生物标本很感兴趣，在郊游等野外活动中，很多同学采集过花草，捕捉过各种昆虫，并想保存这些动植物。但因为采集与制作动植物标本的知识欠缺，方法不正确，达不到预期的效果。所以学生很希望了解这方面的知识，有学习的积极性。这就需要教师很好地引导他们在原有经验的基础上，上升为理性认识，掌握科学的采集与制作动植物标本的方法。
设计理念
本节课从学生的实践入手，从中发现问题，解决问题，并上升为理性认识，然后通过再实践，让学生掌握采集和制作生物标本的科学方法，提高科学实践能力和生物科学素养。该课设计突出体现学生的主体地位，培养学生的主体意识。

课时安排
本节内容为两课时，分别讲植物标本和昆虫标本。
教学准备（第一课时）
教师：1、各种采集工具：采集筒标本夹枝剪等。
2、植物蜡叶标本、浸制标本及昆虫标本。
3、课前布置学生查阅资料，了解采集制作植物标本的方法。以小组为单位完成采集制作过程。并强调要注意安全和有关事项。
学生：自己采集和制作的植物标本。

第一课时植物标本

展示学生采集制作的植物标本，（可使用实物投影仪）
组织学生交流采集情况。

了解各小组在采集标本时，所带工具极其用途，当时缺少什么工具，用什么替代的。

出示采集筒、标本夹、枝剪等，简述用法。

启发学生介绍：
采集活动中最有趣的事；
值得别人借鉴的事；
提醒大家注意的事等。

设问：应该采集植物的哪一部分作为标本更好，你是怎样采集的？
明确：对草本植物，要尽可能采根、茎、叶、花、果实、种子齐全的植株。
对木本植物要采一段带有茎、叶、花或果实的枝条。

教师出示几种标本，并提出问题：这些标本都生活在什么环境中？哪一株标本是哪一位同学采集到的？请汇报一下。

提示学生：采集标本时别忘记给标本挂号牌和做好采集记录。
强调采集记录一定要在采集时完成，不可以采用追记方式。

指导学生参照教材“探究竟”3、4内容，并检查自己所做的标本，找出不足和存在的问题。
组织交流、讨论。

找出几份整理后的标本展示，点评、表扬、鼓励。

提出问题并引导学生分析
如果发现珍稀植物是否应该多采集一些，以便珍藏或用来研究？
其它植物枝条也要尽量多折一些，以便在制作过程中进行选择。这样做对不对？

让学生归纳总结标本的采集过程和制作步骤。

（2）以小组为单位，制定小组活动计划，利用休息日去采集昆虫，一定要注意采集过程中的安全问题。
（3）讨论一下对捕捉到的不同昆虫，都应该采取怎样的处理方法？下节课各小组要讲讲你们在实践中各自的做法、体会、经验、或教训等，希望大家做好准备。

建议：
校园比较大，植物种类比较多，或校园外就是山坡、树林等环境条件的学校，可以带领学生上室外课，边采集边讲解，然后返回实验室，进行压制、干燥、装贴等处理过程，这样做教学效果会更好些。
同学之间对制作的标本互相欣赏、评价，各小组代表发言，概括介绍活动情况。
