一、教学内容
本模块以“动物”为话题,介绍了世界各地的动物及其栖息地、习性等,同时也唤起学生热爱动物,保护动物的意识。内容紧密结合初中学生所熟悉和喜爱的话题而展开听、说、读、写的语言实践活动。使学生既开阔了眼界又增长了知识。本节课是给学生上本模块的第二单元,要求学生能读懂有关介绍动物的篇章,并能找出文中相关细节信息。本模块的语法重点是一般现在时第三人称单数作主语的疑问句及其回答。
二、学生分析
通过Unit1的教学,学生已经掌握了一些动物词汇,已经初步接触过一般现在时第三人称单数作主语的疑问句及其回答表达形式,而Unit2主要是学习各大洲词汇和阅读介绍动物栖息地、习性的文章。本单元是学生学习的重点,也就是有许多知识点需要学生理解和掌握。只要合理地进行教学设计,学生将能够很好地对所学知识进行综合运用,取得良好的教学效果。
三、设计思想
本人围绕本课的教学重点项目,对教材内容作了以下的处理:在通过用多媒体呈现一些动物的图片,引导学生谈论动物的栖息地和巩固一般现在时第三人称单数作主语的疑问句及其回答;通过用多媒体呈现一些动物被残害的图片来进行德育渗透,来唤起学生热爱动物,保护动物的意识。同时在教学过程中通过猜谜、趣味问答问题以及Chant活动,充分调动学生积极性,课堂气氛活跃,在教学过程中兼顾知识的运用能力培养以及文化素养的提升,培养了学生实践能力和创造能力,使学生在特定环境中领悟语言,拓宽视野,获得乐趣和成就感。
