注释:很多西方国家医生的办公室和中国医生的办公室不一样的。在西方,医生的办
公室不在医院里,他们的办公室大多都在办公大楼中,这些大楼中一般都有很多不同
的医生,或许还有药物实验室。如果你要看医生,你必须先打电话,即便是紧急情况
也不例外。如果病人有急诊,而医生不在他/她的办公室,病人可以到医院的急诊室,
那里的待命医生会为病人看病。如果病人要见医生,必须提前预约。许多医生都非常
忙,所以病人有时甚至于要提前一个月预约。病人看医生时,要在候诊室等候医生叫
他们的名字,然后病人会被带到一个有一张椅子和一张床的小房间中,病人要在那里
等医生来。医生与病人说话时,房间中除了护士不能再有其他人,以确保病人的隐私。
西方国家大多数人都有家庭医生,他们会维持30—40年,他们通常不回去看其他医生,
