1．教师让学生打开课本第一页，让学生看图，写出图中人物的名字。
具体操作建议：将学生划分小组，开展小组竞赛，看谁能快速找出。强调要分清男女。
学生写出名字后，由老师带读这几个名字。并要求学生以小组为单位，每个学生挑选一个英语名字，借此训练让学生掌握这几个名字。
2．让学生听1b的录音，以此训练学生对单词的感知。
具体操作建议：第一遍只是让学生听，第二遍让学生跟读，然后让学生看着黑板上的单词，老师一遍遍教读这几个生词。反复带读后，让学生进行齐读、分排读、分男女读，再到个人读，最后背诵。这种由整体到个体的教学方法，符合学生的认知规律。教师还要将这几个单词做成卡片，教读单词后，让学生分小组进行自学和训练，然后派代表抽取卡片，读出单词。
Step5：Task
1．让学生跟读磁带，分清角色，学会见面如何问候。
2．让学生看图，分角色扮演，进行对话。
3．让学生模拟生活场景，表演早晨见面的打招呼用语。

2．教师带读，用不同的升降调读。
3．听磁带，完成2b，要求学生根据所听到的顺序为字母编号。
4．让学生观察2c中的字母并在后面抄写下来，教师在教室内走动观察，发现写得很好的要予以表扬，并向其他同学展示。

Step9：Task
1．训练学生对字母Aa—Hh的反应能力。
展示2e中字母组合的图片，让学生讨论这些字母组合的意义，再让学生找出生活中见到的字母组合。
2．字母游戏训练
建议1：快速说出英语字母。
从第一个学生开始按排依次快速说出A—H八个字母，到第9个学生时，必须将字母倒着说，以此类推。如果说错或说不出来就不能坐下。最后站着的学生跟老师反复读字母，然后带着大家再读几遍字母。
建议2：训练学生对字母的听能反应
教师将全班分成两组，一组学生持大写字母，另一组学生持小写字母，教师快速念字母，要求持有该字母的学生迅速站起来，最先站起来的得两分，后站起来的得一分，没站起来的得零分，得分多的组获胜。
建议3：字母传递
教师规定每一纵排为一组，全班分成若干组，教师分别发给每一组最后一排的学生一张纸，上面写一个字母或字母组合(如：CA)，在教师说“begin”后，最后一排的学生即用耳语把卡片上的内容告诉前面的学生，这位学生再把听到的内容告诉前面的学生……这样依次进行下去，最后第一排的学生把所传的字母或字母组合写到黑板上，传得最快、最准确的组获胜。
建议4：抢凳子
教师将学生分成两组，分别发给Aa­Hh8个字母大写和小写的卡片，并在讲台前摆放五张凳子围成一圈，游戏开始，教师说出三个字母，同时开始播放音乐，两个组中持这三个字母卡片的六个学生应立即上前并围着凳子小跑；音乐一停就抢凳子坐好，组内三个人都抢到凳子的，给该组记10分。
Step10：Summary
教师组织学生分组讨论这节课所学的内容，并由组长记录，最后由学生小组选派的代表向大家汇报本节课的学习成果。在综合大家所总结的内容后，教师向同学宣布最后结果：

1．“Goodmorning！”是早上见面的常用问候语，多用于熟悉的人之间。可以直接用“Morning！”也可以用作“Goodmorningtoyou！”
2．“Hello！”与“Hi！”的区别：
“Hi！”和“Hello！”分别只有一个音节和两个音节，发音特别简单，因此成为最大众化的两句问候语。“Hi”比“Hello”更随便些。“Hello！”还是接电话和打电话时常说的第一句话，相当于汉语的“喂”。两个人初次见面，英国人爱说“Howdoyoudo？”，美国人爱说“Howareyou？”或“Gladtomeetyou.”。

一、知识和能力目标
本单元要求学生掌握英文字母A—H，能认读其印刷体和手写体字母的大小写等四种形式。书写(大写和小写，笔顺，笔画)基本合乎要求。能看,听，说本单元所列的日常交际用语，重点学会打招呼，并做到语音语调正确。注意一些字母及日常交际用语的发音，提醒学生不要将C／si：／发成／sei:／;H/eʧ/发成/eʧ/，也不要将Goodmorning／说成／／等。
