三.语法篇

被动语态

被动语态由“be+及物动词的过去分词”构成。

一、用法

(一)不知道或没有必要或不想指出谁是动作的执行者时,用被动语态。

(二)强调或突出动作的承受者时,用被动语态。

(三)方法

将主动语态的宾语变为被动语态的主语;将谓语动词变为be+P.P(过去分词);如有必要,将主动语态的主语变为介词by的宾语。

例如:1.PeoplespeakEnglishinmanycountriesintheworld.

一般现在时态:am/is/are+pp

一般过去时态:was/were+pp.

一般将来时态:willbe+pp

含有情态动词;情态动词+be+pp

注意事项:

1.主动结构的主语变为介词by的宾语,组成介词短语,放在被动结构中谓语动词之后,在动作的执行者无须说明或不必强调时,by短语可以省略。例如:

Mothertookgoodcareofthechildren.

Thechildrenweretakengoodcareof.

2.含有直接宾语和间接宾语的主动结构变为被动结构时,可以将其中一个宾语变为主语,另一个不动。一般是主动结构的间接宾语(人)变为被动结构的主语。例如:

Wegavehimabook.

Hewasgivenabook.

如果直接宾语(物)变为主语,间接宾语前要加上介词to或for。能带双宾语的动词大部分加to,如give,bring,tell等;也有的加for,如;buy,make,sing,draw等.例如:

Wegavehimabook.Abookwasgiventohim.

Mymotherboughtmeanewpairoftrousers.

Anewpairoftrouserswasboughtforme.

3.含有复合宾语的主动结构变为被动结构时,必须是主要谓语动词的宾语变为主语,不要把充当宾语补足语的不定式中的宾语变为主语。例如:

Theteachertoldustoreadthetextslowly.

Weweretoldtoreadthetextslowly.

如果名词充当宾语补足语时,也不要把这个名词变为被动结构的主语。例如:

PeoplecallhimUncleTom.

HeiscalledUncleTom.

4.主动结构中宾语的定语,要随宾语变为被动结构,作主语的定语。主动结构的状语的位置一般不变。例如:

SheoftentoldusstoriesaboutEdison.

StoriesaboutEdisonwereoftentoldtous.

Weusearecorderinourclass.

Arecorderisusedinourclass.

5.短语动词在主动结构中是一个不可分割的词组,在被动结构中也是如此,不可丢掉后面的介词或副词。例如:

Weturnonthestreetlightsat7:30intheevening.

Thestreetlightsareturnedonat7:30intheevening.

6.有些感官动词例如see,hear,watch等及使役动词如make,have,let后面的宾语,如接不定式作为其宾语补足语时,该不定式不能带to。结构如下:主语+感官动词(或使役动词)+宾语+不带to的不定式(作宾补),但当上列结构由主动语态变为被动语态时,不带to的不定式须换成带to的不定式。例如:JAb88.cOm

7.不及物动词及不及物动词词组均不能用被动语态,有些不能表示动作的状态动词,如have,fit等,通常不能用于被动语态。例如:

(1)besides表示“除了…还有”。如:

BesidesLiMing,therearemanyotherstudentsattendingthemeeting.

(2)except表示“除去,不包括”,强调“可排除地,不包括在内”,一般表示同类之间地关系,常与nothing,all,none,nobody,any等不定代词及every连用。如:

TheyallwentthereexceptLiMing.除了李明,他们其他所有人都去那里。

Hehadnotimeforrelaxationexceptduringtheholiday.除了节假日,他没有放松的时间。

Shesawnothingexceptsnow.(nothingexcept=nothingbutonly)她只看到了雪。

(3)exceptfor也表示“除…之外”,它同except的区别是:exceptfor后可接的词同句子中的主语不是同类的,指从整体中除去一个细节,一个方面,而except后所接的词同主语一般是同类的,指在同类的整体中除去一个部分。如:

(1)another是“另一个,又一个”。如:

(2)theother:在谈两个人或物时,“说完一个,又说一个”。如:

五、语法----现在完成时(基础篇)

1.现在完成时的结构是have/has+过去分词

2.现在完成时的用法

A.表示过去发生的某个动作对现在产生的影响。常与already(早已),yet(还未),just(刚刚),never(从不),ever(曾经)等连用。

e.g.Theyhaven’tcleanedtheclassroomyet.(表示现在教师不干净。)

Shehasalreadyseenthefilm.(表示她已经知道这部电影的内容。)

B.表示过去发生的某个动作持续到现在。常与since(自从),for(长达),inthelastfewdays(在过去的几天中),inthepastfewyears(在过去的几年中)等。

e.g.Hehasbeenhereforhalfanhour.

Lisahasreadfivebookssincetheendofthelastmonth.

注意:(1)其中already用于肯定句,否定句则要改成yet,用于句末。Never表否定,改成一般疑问句要用ever。

(2).since后接时间点,而for后接时间段,两者都必须和持续性动词连用。

“have/hasgoneto+地点”表示“已去了某地”,可能在途中也可能还在目的地。
