something,anything,nothing等不定代词用形容词修饰时,要把形容词放在代词后面,这与形容词放在名词前作定语的汉语规则正好相反。

10.Idon’tthinkso!我认为不是这样。(SectionB,3a)
这句话常用于表示不同意对方的意见或观点等,其肯定形式是“Ithinkso.”(我认为是这样的。)表示肯定对方的意见。

“Therebe+主语+v.-ing形式”结构中,v.-ing形式用作定语,修饰前面的主语,相当于一个定语从句。如:

情态动词可以表示说话的语气。本单元主要学习情态动词表示推测的用法。

句中的情态动词must,could,might和can’t分别表示不同程度的推测。现归纳如下:
must用于肯定句中,表示说话人对事物的推测把握最大,意思是“一定;准是”。如:

◎may/might/could这三个词都可以表示说话人对事物的推测,但可能性较小,意思是“有可能;也许”。其中might/could比may较为委婉客气和更加不肯定。如:
